After she sold her IT company, Ilse founded the private foundation Endelea Foundation. Since 2021, this charity organization has focused on mental health in Central Africa by providing support in the field of digitalization.

"My journey began in the world of healthcare, where, as a nurse, I learned to stand beside others with attention and genuine care. After five valuable years, I chose a new path, put on the royal blue uniform, and found my place in the police force. For more than twenty years, in a leadership role, I had the privilege of making a difference.

Life challenged me — I lost touch with myself and felt the ground slip away beneath my feet. Horses taught me to listen again. In their company, I found peace, learned to connect with my surroundings, and rediscovered my true self. “During my youth I spent a lot of time with horses; from an early age I had the opportunity to gain experience in different disciplines of equestrian sport. After completing my studies in IT, I built a career in which I held management positions in various companies.

Throughout my professional journey, I became increasingly aware that working with people is invaluable and deeply fulfilling. At the same time, empowering people — both as individuals and in teams — is a continuous challenge. This is why I kept diving deeper into the study of human behaviour through the power of NLP, reiki, and hypnotherapy. A chance encounter and a special connection eventually brought agatogether my passion for horses and my interest in human behaviour and awareness.”

Within Horse Act, Jos is responsible for further developing and leading the organisation, guiding the strategy, and overseeing the implementation of project planning.

Within Horse Act, Els ensures the streamlined organization of all activities: the workshops, the rental of the facilities but also the grooming of the horses. The focus is not only on Horse Care, but on Horse Well-being. That means all physical, emotional and psychological factors. So Horse Health.

Els spent her entire life among horses. As Operational Manager , she runs the Hof van 't Rommersum and has developed the location into an oasis of peace.
