Leadership & Collaboration

When talent is there, but collaboration isn't flowing

You want leaders who provide direction and teams that take responsibility. Even when pressure increases or the organisation is going through change.

Yet conversations sometimes remain superficial, difficult topics are avoided, or the same collaboration challenges keep resurfacing. How do you help people recognise their own contribution to these dynamics and practise new behaviours?

Horse Act supports leaders and teams through HorsePower®: experiential development with horses, directly connected to everyday workplace situations.

What would you like to strengthen in your organisation?

Perhaps you recognise one or more of these situations:

  • Your team consists of talented professionals, but working together requires too much coordination and energy.
  • Leaders are looking for ways to provide clear direction while allowing others to take responsibility.
  • Tensions remain unspoken, affecting trust and decision-making.
  • Growth or change calls for new roles, clearer expectations and greater ownership.
  • You're looking for a development approach that goes beyond simply talking about behaviour.

We start by understanding what's happening in your organisation and what participants need to be able to do differently in their daily work.

Experience behaviour and practise new ways of working

When working with horses, body language, timing, communication and the way someone takes up space become an immediate part of the experience.

What happens when someone communicates more clearly? When a leader slows down or takes the initiative? How does the interaction change when someone adjusts their approach?

Through guided exercises, participants explore these experiences and connect them to familiar workplace situations. This creates opportunities to practise different behaviours and make conscious choices about how to act in their daily work.

From development needs to workplace application

First, we define the focus.

Together, we discuss the context, the participants and the desired development. For example, addressing tensions earlier, clarifying responsibilities or learning to shift more consciously between providing direction and giving others space.

During the sessions, participants explore their behaviour.

Guided exercises with horses, observation and reflection help participants recognise patterns and experience different ways of responding and interacting.

Finally, we translate the insights into the workplace.

Which insights are relevant to your daily reality? What would participants like to approach differently? Which agreements will help the team put these insights into practice?

An approach tailored to your needs

Depending on your development objectives, we offer experiential team days, individual coaching, in-depth exploration of team dynamics, or a combination of these approaches.

We draw on the HorsePower® Experience, HorsePower® EQ Assessment and HorsePower® TeamRadar. During an introductory conversation, we explore which approach best suits your objectives and participants.

Sessions take place at Horse Act in Zoutleeuw, Belgium. All exercises are conducted on the ground, and no previous experience with horses is required. The programme is tailored to the group, your development objectives and the desired level of depth.

What challenges is your organisation facing?

Tell us what's happening in your organisation and what you would like to strengthen. During an introductory conversation, we'll explore whether HorsePower® is the right fit and which approach would be most valuable.
